Welcome to NRITYA GANESHA BHARATANATYAM INSTITUTE

IT’S AN EXPRESSION OF SOUL, DEVOTION, AND SPIRITUALITY

Discover the timeless elegance of Bharatanatyam at our Institute

Historical evidence and traditional accounts describe Bharatanatyam, earlier known as Sadir, being performed in Tamil Nadu’s temples for nearly 2,000 years. Temple sculptures in places like Chidambaram and Thanjavur depict postures and karanas that closely resemble today’s Bharatanatyam, showing how ancient and continuous the form is.
